BEHIND THE WORK:

Gilded Fear is about the relationship we have with our own image. The fear of what lies underneath and the danger of being consumed by what's on the surface. A piece made of fear, image-management, and self-deprecation. Ultimately, it became a caution against looking too closely at the exterior and forgetting the person behind it.
CRAFTMANSHIP

This work is a digital painting printed on unstretched, archival canvas with archival pigment and a lustre finish. Each piece is hand painted with digital media and undergoes strict post-printing quality review before completion.

CARE AND DISPLAY

Avoid touching printed surface with bare hands. Although UV resistant, artwork should be displayed away from long exposure to direct sunlight, unless framed behind UV resistant plexiglass.
